Lately we've been doing a lot of Internet and WWW training, and Web Site development.

A web page is a collection of text and pictures, and links to other web pages. A web site is a collection of web pages, all owned and/or managed by the same individual or organization. A farmer might have a description of his land, an arial photograph, an inventory of his livestock (including a photo of Bessie, his award-winning heifer) his crops and his equipment. He might have a link on one of his pages to commodities information at the Chicago Board of Trade, another link to John Deere tractors, and perhaps a long list of links to other farm-related documents he's found on the World Wide Web.

We can come to your home or office (or farm!), install the software you need to use the Internet (email, World Wide Web, telnet, ftp), and set up a first draft "home page" -- in about two hours. If you have brochures or photos you'd like to include on the page, we will scan them to create GIF or JPEG files. If you send the photos in advance of the first meeting, your "first draft" web page can include these photos.

Don't have a computer? No problem. All we need is a phone plug at your location, and we'll bring out a portable computer with color display, to show you what the Internet is. If you like what you see, you can put in an order for a computer (next day delivery if you like) and we'll be back to set it up and get you going.

Do you want to establish a presence on the Internet and the World Wide Web, but don't have the time to publicize your web site and answer email from your customers and prospects? We can manage your site on a time and materials basis. We can read and respond to your email in a previously-agreed-upon manner. We can deliver your email to you via facsimile, and respond to the sender with your comments. Got something else in mind? We're interested! We can get you there.

We can also get you set up with your own "domain" on the web, for a more professional (and less complicated) URL to reach your web site.
